This Antique Japanese cypress wood cabinet is designed specifically for tea ceremonies, providing a convenient storage solution where traditional kitchen equipment is not required.
The cabinet is impressive with its bamboo shelves, which were used to improve ventilation. Remaining tea can be drained through the shelf into the bottom drawer without opening it. This is a functional chest of drawers with excellent ventilation, as well as storage for tea utensils such as tea bowls, ladles, and whisk.
