Zen Antiques Exhibits at The Japanese Garden in Hasselt

We are excited to showcase our collection at this year’s Kikumatsuri (Chrysanthemum Festival) at the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, from October 19 to October 27. We will be present during both weekends of the festival, on October 19-20 and October 26-27.

The chrysanthemum, a flower with a history of hundreds of years in Japan, symbolises long life and rejuvenation due to its medicinal origins. It is also a symbol of autumn and the rice harvest, which traditionally takes place in October.

The original concept of Chrysanthemum Festivals in Japan dates back to 910, making it almost as old as the flower’s history in Japan. This year, the Japanese Garden will once again be transformed into a vibrant carpet of chrysanthemums, showcasing the beauty of this iconic flower.

In addition to our usual antique items, we will have new arrivals of exquisite tableware available for sale.  Be sure to visit, immerse yourself in the stunning floral displays, and explore our unique offerings!
